Join me for a 2 hour photo walk around the coastal village of Walberswick where we will be working with the theme of ‘seeing the landscape in squares’.
A square aspect ratio is not everyone’s first thought for landscape photography but it can be a great choice for simple, minimalist compositions. Square aspect ratios allow for experimentation and it is possible to create strong images using compositional ideas that don’t necessarily follow the ‘rules’.
On this walk we will be ‘seeing’ in squares and using this aspect ratio set in camera or composing and cropping afterwards.
