Join me for a 2 hour photo walk around the coastal hamlet of Shingle Street where we will be working with the theme of ‘capturing detail.’
Shingle Street has become an iconic photographic location for its banks of shingle, waterside bungalow and the coastguard cottages. In Spring / early summer the beach is completely transformed from a barren landscape to one that is vibrant with colour. Flowers include sea kale, sea pea, red valerian, vipers bugloss, sea campion and yellow horned poppy.
This walk is focused on capturing detail using a shallow depth of field and low viewpoints.
